On November 28 and 29, 2023, the next business game "Management and Development of a Vertically Integrated Oil and Gas Company in a Competitive Environment" (VIOC) was held. It was organized by the industrial partner of the university, the Achinsk Oil Refinery, for 3rd-4th year students of the Institute of Chemical Technology, the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications, and the Institute of Engineering Economics. The business game "Management and Development of a Vertically Integrated Oil and Gas Company in a Competitive Environment" is a computer simulation model of several oil companies operating in a single oil and oil products market. It is used by most Russian oil and gas companies in training personnel at all levels. The trainer was the founder of the game, the head of the TIM group Igor Smirnov, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, business trainer (Moscow). In this game, students learned to understand the structure of the company, learned to work in a team, and studied the financial aspect of the company. As a result of the game, a fairly high rating was received, anything more than 6 is a level much higher than average, good results were obtained.

Today, the Institute of Chemical Technology held the business game "Change Management" (VINK). The event was organized by the Achinsk Oil Refinery (AO ANPZ VNK) of PAO NK Rosneft with the participation of an invited expert - a partner of the enterprise, the head of the TIM Group company, Moscow (trainings and simulation modeling), candidate of pedagogical sciences Igor Viktorovich Smirnov. The participants of the business game were 3rd-4th year students of the Institute of Chemical Technology in the following areas of training: 18.03.01 "Chemical Technology", 15.03.02 "Technological Machines and Equipment", 18.03.02 "Energy and Resource-Saving Processes in Chemical Technology, Petrochemistry and Biotechnology".
